“If you get lost, don’t worry, it just means you will be a little late.” These were the parting words of my wise uncle as I set off on a car trip in unchartered territory (before I had a sat nav). I’ve always thought it was the best advice, as it’s true, instead of panicking I accept the fact that I will find my way but won’t be on time. Chances are when I do reach my destination there will probably be a story to tell.
There was this one time when my sat nav and a roundabout sent me around in circles. I didn’t hear which turning I had to take. As I wasn’t going in a straight line the sat nav had difficulty reaching 100% in its re-calculation. Eventually I took a guess and found my route as is the way with many things in life.
